Providence has achieved the post-industrial urban renaissance many American cities dream of, and preservation has proven to be a key (and sometimes controversial) tool in that transformation. Together, we'll follow the Providence River into the heart of the Creative Capital and explore some of the exceptional buildings that preservationists, politicians, and Providence’s own have worked so hard to save.
After a two-year pause due to the Covid pandemic, RI PrideFest is back and better than ever in the Providence Innovation District Park. Bring the kids to the Hasbro Kid’s Zone, enjoy some art, or take a load off at the Beer Wine & Spirits Garden. Enter the Festival either at the Dyer Street entrance or the Pedestrian Bridge.
