NEW: Providence Foundation provides Push Carts as a part of the ‘TAKE IT OUTSIDE’ Initiative
As a part of Rhode Island Commerce Corporation’s Take It Outside initiative, The Providence Foundation is giving away a limited supply of push carts to help food and beverage businesses take their services outside.
The deluxe vending push carts can be customized to offer one of the following options: hot beverages, cold tap system beverages, or a steam table. Supplies are EXTREMELY limited and will be awarded on a first come first served basis to those businesses who meet the criteria.

Qualifications:
Businesses must be in the food and beverage industry
Businesses must be open and operating at the time of application.
Businesses must be within the defined area of Downtown Providence
Businesses must share a brief narrative explaining how they will use this equipment to take business outside. Please explain when you plan to use it, how it will be used and where. This grant requires that this equipment is used immediately.
The application will close and awards will be announced by 5pm, December 10th. Should you be awarded a push cart, we will contact you with customization options related to your use. Each awardee will have 24 hours to respond with their custom orders otherwise their award will be forfeited and offered to another applicant. Due to grant requirements, there is not time for custom graphic treatments, but this is something you can explore on your own.
Unfortunately we will only be able to award a limited few, but we will retain a waiting list should additional grant funds open up.
